About the role:

The Deal Desk Specialist will support the worldwide B2B Revenue organization and will play a critical role in streamlining the sales process by ensuring accurate and efficient deal structuring, approvals, and contract management. This position will serve as a key liaison between the business development, customer success, legal, and finance teams, providing expert guidance and support to facilitate successful and timely deal closures.

Responsibilities:

Sales Enablement:

  • Act as the single point of contact and a subject matter expert on all questions related to deal management.
  • Provide continuous training and support to the sales team on CRM, internal processes and policies.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and sales enablement materials related to deal desk processes.

Deal Structuring and Review:

  • Evaluate and analyze proposed deals for financial viability, compliance, and risk assessment in accordance with SOPs.
  • Provide guidance to sales representatives on optimal deal structures, pricing, discounting, and terms.
  • Create and maintain accepted deal templates and documentation.

Approval Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end deal approval process, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Review and approve non-standard deal terms and conditions.
    Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (legal, finance, etc.) to timely obtain necessary approvals.
  • Track and monitor deal approval progress, identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks.

Data Management:

  • Run a pipeline review cadences and maintain data hygiene.
  • Pro-actively check data to ensure data integrity and accurate forecasting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into CRM and other relevant systems.
  • Ensure accurate data input through automated workflows, diagnose errors, and rectify data as necessary.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of sales contracts and related documentation.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline deal management and deal approval processes.
  • Support system and process modifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Understanding of sales processes and contract management.
  • Understanding of data management principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of legal and financial terms related to sales agreements.
  • Commitment to a fixed work schedule and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Interest in long-term development in global revenue operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and contract management tools
  • Experience in a deal desk, or similar role.
  • Foundational knowledge of SaaS data management principles.
