TOEIC Writing là gì?

Đề thi TOEIC Writing không tính điểm dựa trên số câu đúng mà dựa trên các mức độ hoàn thành nhiệm vụ và tiêu chí chuyên môn:
- Tiêu chí chính: Độ chính xác về ngữ pháp, vốn từ vựng, khả năng tổ chức ý tưởng và tính liên kết của văn bản.
- Thang điểm từng phần:
- Câu 1 – 5: Điểm tối đa mỗi câu là 3.
- Câu 6 – 7: Điểm tối đa mỗi câu là 4.
- Câu 8: Điểm tối đa là 5.
- Quy đổi: Tổng điểm thô của 8 câu hỏi sẽ được quy đổi sang thang điểm chuẩn từ 0 đến 200 điểm để xác định trình độ năng lực của thí sinh.
Cấu trúc bài thi TOEIC Writing
Cấu trúc bài thi TOEIC Writing bao gồm 8 câu hỏi được chia thành 3 phần riêng biệt, diễn ra trong vòng 60 phút. Bài thi được thực hiện hoàn toàn trên máy tính bằng bàn phím QWERTY. Một điểm lưu ý quan trọng là thí sinh có thể tự do xem lại hoặc chỉnh sửa câu trả lời trong phạm vi thời gian của từng phần.
Về mặt nội dung, TOEIC Writing tập trung vào các tình huống đời sống hàng ngày hoặc môi trường làm việc chuyên nghiệp. Bài thi không yêu cầu kiến thức chuyên sâu về kinh doanh mà chủ yếu đánh giá tư duy logic và khả năng sử dụng tiếng Anh thông qua 3 cấp độ năng lực tăng dần:

Tuy nhiên, khi thời gian của phần đó kết thúc, bạn sẽ được chuyển sang phần tiếp theo và không thể quay lại chỉnh sửa các câu hỏi trước đó. Tất cả bài làm sẽ được gửi đến mạng lưới chấm điểm trực tuyến của ETS và kết quả thường có sau khoảng 13 ngày.

Tiêu chí đánh giá bài thi TOEIC Writing
Để chinh phục mức điểm tối đa, thí sinh cần hiểu rõ cách thức giám khảo chấm điểm cho từng phần thi. Mỗi dạng câu hỏi trong bài thi có thang điểm thô và tiêu chí chấm TOEIC Writing riêng biệt, cụ thể như sau:

Sau khi có tổng điểm thô, hệ thống sẽ chuyển đổi sang thang điểm 200. Kết quả của thí sinh được phân loại thành 9 trình độ năng lực giúp xác định rõ điểm mạnh và điểm yếu:
